Five Golden Tickets are hidden in chocolate bars around the world, and those lucky few who find them get to spend a day at Mr. Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Young Charlie Bucket happens to be one of them, even though he only gets to buy one chocolate bar a year. At the factory, Charlie vies with four obnoxious children to win the ultimate prize.
LAUNCH PARTY!!
Mrs. MacDonald arranged a scavenger hunt for our students to discover what book we were reading this year. The Grades 1 - 6 had clues provided that they had to solve, which ultimately led them to a poster of our book (clues are below photos).
The Kindergarten class were given visual clues...we'll let you know how they did!
CLUES:
CLUE 1: Your first clue is hid where you may sit as a kid While waiting for your turn to play Or to watch Ms. Watson show you the way…
CLUE 2: Now where would you go to get extra care? Bandaids, ice packs or a friendly stare? Ask to use the phone and I bet she’ll say yes, Do you know where it is yet? Can you guess?
CLUE 3: Now don’t bother giving me silly looks… Who would you go to if you wanted more books?
CLUE 4: She’s someone who is extra friendly and kind! I put this in her office and hope she won’t mind… She’s good to talk to if you’re feeling upset. Have you figured this clue out yet?
